Mola Kaliva is a great small, family resorton the south-west coast of the first peninsula Kassandra, about an hour from Thessaloniki. Locally it is It is predominantly a summer resort but a few people are living there permanently which is possible because of close proximity to Nea Skioni and Kalandra.
Provisions in Mola Kaliva. Thas a couple of supermarkets opening fresh locally bread are a handful of family-run cafe-bars, beachfront restaurants/fish taverns and several relaxed beach bars with parasols and sunbeds for customers. Out of season there are shops and services only 5km away.
Mola Kaliva accommodation consists of small family run apartments. There are no resort hotels in the village itself, however a couple of outside Mola Kaliva is one of the longest standing hotels on the Kassandra peninsula called Hotel Mendi, which is named after its location being next to the ancient kingdom of Mendi. The beach there is perfect – long, wide and very sandy.
Even though it is a relatively small place, Mola Kaliva properties span the whole spectrum from the very cheap apartments to luxury private beachfront villas worth multi-millions. There are many large independent villas on both the first and second line as well as inland on the mountainside with spectacular sea views so it is quietly upmarket but as an area though the prices here are Besides the private villas, other available options include 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2 or 3 bedroom maisonettes.
