The area is in-between villages on the mountain (where there are some excellent traditional meat restaurants and ouzeries) and is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest.  Perfect base for people who enjoy going hiking or cycling (the house has a big storage room where guests could store their mountain bikes). The closest beaches, which are a couple of kilometres outside the village of Paliouri, are some of the most highly regarded in the region. Lively Pefkohori is also only a short drive.
